Control startup of windows xp using msconfig

We install a lot of application on our computer. But all the applications are not used at a time. Many of them are used in a week or in a month. Some application starts automatically when windows start. But it takes time and makes pc slow. And it gives us pain. But you can control the start up of your computer. And now I am gonna tell you how to control or manage  the srartup. It's very easy.

Click to Start and then choose Run ( Keyboard shortcut: win+r ). Now write msconfig in the open box and then click to OK or press enter from your keyboard. It will open another dialogue box called System Configuration Utility. Now click to Startup tab...

Now unchecked the startup item what you want not to start in startup. For example, Adobe Gamma Loader, Yahoo Messenger, Bijoy, NeroCheck etc. But make sure you are not going to stop the necessary startup item such as your antivirus, pcsuite, bluetooth or any other daily used application. Now click to Apply and then OK. Another Dialogue box will come to you known as System Configuration.

You must restart your computer for the changes of system configuration to take effect. You may also restart your computer later manually. After restarting your computer, you will get another massage from system configuration utility.

Check the check box of  "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows start " and then click to OK. Enjoy.......
